OMG! Who ever predicted that we would be able to catch up with long lost friends through the internet. Social networking is truly one of the wonders of the world wide web. MySpace, Facebook, Friendster, Multiply, Twitter and other sites have given us the power to search for lost relatives, meet new people, and even become entrepreneurs. It has also given the youth the ability to become outspoken and be involved with current affairs. Even I'm becoming active in discussions regarding present issues. Not only that, users have seen it as a way to start a business! They just didn't see it as a way to connect with people they know but a way to attract potential customers. Big time companies are now taking advantage of the popularity of these sites and use it to promote their products. Brilliant! Now, hundreds use social networks to sell clothes, gadgets, food and slimming products. So, if you want to catch up with friends, find family or even set up a business, try creating an account.
